#9107 - RE: off topic - on the lighter side |
There is another layer to this coding issue. While we appear to be contrasting how different people key-in an algorithm in C, a more interesting part of the design at least for me, is how you take the abstract project definition and create the algorithms.
As we have discussed in the past, there are many method for solutions and backing the comparison to the beginning may be more interesting than comparing prose in C. I recently created an example project online that could be used for this if I add a little schematic for the input and the output stages. The challenge would be to read an ADC and process its input and display an answer of a LED display. Use C, assembly, or Basic to code it. If you want to consider it as a project, you can find it described at the following URL. If they're is enough participation in this software style comparison that Gil(?) sugested, and if you want me to add some simple circuitry for the example project, let me know. Obviously I'm not going to do a complete design, just that which is necessary. aka j |
