Thanks Jez and Philip, and the link that Philip supplied, my curiosity is sated, and I am wondering why the hell to bother - the DDS chip pointed to in the article can do everything you might possibly want for around 3.50 USD, from 0 to 20Mhz and gives square, sine or triangle o/p.
With a triangle o/p generating variable F PWM becomes trivial. Steve |
