#9200 - RE: Address decoding for AT89C52 |
Temic BOUGHT Atmel. The part number is T89C51RD2 (Atmel parts usually begin AT but last I looked, it was still a T though now sold under the Temic name).
An external bus consumers a lot of pins printed circuit board real estate. I stated designing when external buses was how everything was done BUT I've found I prefer to use multicontrollers with serial IO to any external chips. If you convert a bus intensive design to all internal FLASH or OTP, you'll have a lot of pins left over. You may find that a derivative 8051 will give you both greater internal memory space AND smaller pinouts. I seem to consume every pinout I have so you'll have to await derivative advice from others. :) PDF @ http://www.atmel-wm.com/upload/do...2c4bcd.pdf TEMIC or Atmel @ http://www.atmel-wm.com/ aka j http://www.geocities.com/mingpzong |
