#92087 - grain of salt Responding to: ???'s previous message |
Old, limited, test equipment can be valuable if you know the limits and take what you see with a grain of salt.
In one case I were equipped with insufficcient equipment, but, knowing that, I did not take that the scope showed nothing as proof of no pulse. I reasoned my way to the fact that a pulse had to exist at that point which was too narrow for the scope to show. Taking care of the pulse that the scope did not show made the unit work. Thus, if you know what you have anything is better than nothing. If, however, you do not know the limitations of your stuff, nothing is better than anything. Erik |
