#92223 - The Project Responding to: ???'s previous message |
The project deals with microcontroller controlling many devices and finding any errors in those devices. for this I have to have 2 interfaces one from the PC to MC and the second from MC to Devices. PC transfers data to MC and after processing errors etc. the MC transfers data back to PC and is persented to user in a GUI.
The initial protocol that I have developed did not have error checking, that was found to be very critical, coz if I have to rx 100 bytes the the RxPin had to be kept high and after reception i had to bring it low, in case of error in transmission and the bit stream is washed off in between, then the MC would hang i.e it would not accept any signals not even abort and the whole thing had to be restarted. The next problem was that incase a bit was missing from the message then the parity was considired to be another of the message bit. I am totally confused as what do I do with this, Thanks for any help, Kiran |
