#92232 - Not enough IO ports! Must Multiplex Responding to: ???'s previous message |
Yes, I have already considered this (using IO ports as an address buss), but there would not be enough IO ports to all that is needed. There are 2 x MT89L86 that are on the PCB, and a few other devices. The MT89L86 uses a multiplexed buss interface which fits in perfectly with the multiplexed buss of the 89C52, except this delay line (/DTA). The real question can I stop the clock to the CPU for a few hundered nano seconds, so that the addressing also stops and is held? |
