Thank you everyone for your responses. I got it up and running on friday night. My error must have been in hardware or timing somewhere. I ended up switching the lower address lines over to the non-multiplexed half of my expansion bus and pulling the ALE of the chip permanantly high (figure 2 of the data sheet). I'm still unsure of my original error but continue to investigate. Again thank you to all! - Dan
