#92669 - About Baud Rate |
Hello~
I want a model servo (Futaba S3001) be controlled by a PC using VB and COM port. The fastest Baud Rate I can use is 19.2kbps in VB. If I use 19.2kbps I have a 11.0592MHz crystal for the interface, the 89S52. The problem is that I've written the servo control program for the 89S52 (which require precision timing) at 12MHz. But I have to use 11.0592MHz crystal to replace the 12MHz to obtain a precision baud rate. Can you suggest me a way to connect the MPU to the COM port of the PC (beside re-write the program into a 11.0592MHz)? Stanley |
