...but you might find them interesting as they are nearly standalone devices (internal oscillator and mostly everything you need), http://www.fairchildsemi.com/products/micro/ - the Fairchild ACEx series. No UART though - you'd need to use software UART for serial port, plus programming them is a bit funny. 8-pin DIP/SOIC - Vcc, GND and 6x general IO, plus incredible amount of features for such a tiny device. |
