- you don't need NoTouch, as you write, upon HW reset it unconditionally starts the bootcode waiting for autobauding (receiving "U") for a while - the watchdog is built in, so a three-legged reset IC is enough (if you don't object processor-clock-driven WDs) - whe using FlashMagic (or ISP in general), don't switch on the SoftICE mode - with the older (v4) bootloader it is not trivial to get it back to normal mode - what do you mean by "code banking" - can you please specify further?
