I want to thank each and everyone of you for your replies. I think I'm gonna go for 8051.
Again another question comes out, which chip to go? I am really fed up with so many different company with many chips, just cannot decide which one is good for a beginner. I went to http://www.iguanalabs.com/ and found they have some kits for sell, and a cheap programmer too. If you don't mind, I'd like to know of your opinion on this or other resources that can be of help.
