I want to count the number of times my voltage stabiliser (with buck boost relays) has gone to buck / boost mode in a weak The change over varies from even once in 10-15secs to never. Now an electromagnetic counter shows this. I want to use 89c51 to count this and display it. Conting and displaying seems no problem but i got struct to retain the value in the event of power failure with out using any external power source and with out exeeding the write cycles of the uc. any tips please.
