#9584 - RE: slow counter with memory |
Thank you, Peter, Eric and all.
When I was going through the data sheet for 89c2051,I found the following "when cpu enters into powerdown mode, it saves the SFRs and RAM. Only way to come out of powerdown mode is through a hardware reset after restoring Vcc". What does this mean? RAM is saved on power shut down? how and when the CPU enters into powerdown mode? Does it mean that I get back my values after a power failure? and finaly if so,is my problem of retaining the values on power failure, without using a EEPROM or any other backup can be solved. d.dass |
