#95320 - DC motors vs servos
Responding to: ???'s previous message

Servos are just DC motors with some electronics, a gearbox and a position pot for feedback. So if you want more torque, just get a bigger motor, gearbox and beefier electronics. How much do you want?

Do a troll on the web to find out how the innards of your average servo works.

*Note* by using the term 'servo' I'm referring to the radio control model style servos as used by hobbyists.
