I have to interface a 8052 5 volts whith cpld 3,3 volts MAXII Altera, EPM1270, any idea
4 ways to handle this 1) use a 5V CPLD (Lattice is one source) 2) use a 3.3 V '51 derivative 3) use Philips 74LVC4245 (equivalent) for bidirecional and 5 to 3.3, for 3.3 to 5 ONLY you can use 74HCT 4) take all the troubles of using "5V tolerant pins" (resistive pullup, reduced noise margins etc) erik |
