Really, I think most of us would like to collaborate on some project, but it is finding the time which is usually the problem. There is the TCP/IP project featured on this site. I think if any of us wanted to start a project, this is as good a place than any! Also, what kind of projects could we work on? I reckon for many people to get involved, it would have to be big. Say we were to work together to write a brand-new wonderful pre-emptive multi-tasking operating-system for the 8052 (perhaps even with built-inTCP/IP), would everyone agree to allow it to be used in any of the commercial projects some of us work on for our jobs?.. Imagine developing something for the 8052 that is what Linux is for the PC!!!... I really must sort out a decent set of libaries so I don't have to keep rewriting code!.. Oops, thinking out aloud again!

Let's just see what happens!
