I guess I'm curious as to what exactly would be needed. I read the link you provided--it sounded to me alot like SourceForge (where SDCC is), with a bit of Motorola marketing thrown in for good measure.

I think the main difference is that Linux, for example, is a huge undertaking. Most embedded programs are smaller and usually done for commercial reasons which are not normally shared. What people can often share are code fragments, which is the idea behind the Code Library.

I'm not against some kind of project system being made available at 8052.com, but I'd be interested in more ideas as to what 8052.com would need to do to make that happen--and what kind of projects would be implemented using such a feature on the site.
