Hi Jesus,

if you mean, that critical data should be stored secure, I would prefer serial EEPROM or parallel Flash/EEPROM with software data protection.
Then always a special data sequence was needed to enable the execution of any write cycle and unintentional write can never occur.

On NVRAM any single short spike can alter data (e.g during power off, power on or in noisy environment).
