Carnegie Mellon (CMU) and CalTech all have major robotics programs. One of the world leaders, Hans Moravec is at CMU.

However, I don't think they have undergrad programs. You should be looking at Mechatronics as a gate to robotics in the future - electronics AND mechanical engineering.
