#96552 - I got that working nicely.... Responding to: ???'s previous message |
I got that design working rather nicely using a software PID to close the loop. The benefit was the elimination of a $3 chip to do the "regulation". Keep in mind that with today's switcher IC circuit improvements there would be benefit to let an IC chip do the work instead of using software since todays chips have on-board high voltage capable switches with current capabilities up over half an ampere now.
The other downside is that the final design as proposed in the link posted by Bruce is that it was done not on an 8051 processor but one of the Mot 8-bitters. Michael Karas |
