#96935 - Ctrl -Z Responding to: ???'s previous message |
I suppose it goes to show ingrained in us oldies the concept of control codes! Anyway, with the string - no need to add the CR and LF - at least with the Wavecom device I use. The ctrl-z is the terminator - thats all it wants. ('Over heated at section 1',0x1a,0}; Note the <cr><lf> in the command AT+CMGS="0123456"<cr><lf> It will most likely give you a prompt, after this you send the message string terminated by ctrl-z. My Wavecom manual also explains the use of ATV0,ATV1 . ATV0 sets the responses to numeric codes, ATV1 sets it for 'verbose' or readable responses. Normally most people find it easier to code for the numeric responses. I found an older copy of the Wavecom manual I use on the web http://www.smssys.com/download/doc/AT_V8.7.pdf Bahaya! It is 1.35MB. Most of the Wavecom stuff complies with the ETSI GSM specs. |
