Surely, if you know the wave shape, computing RMS is a simple scaling of the peak value?


Its is not pure sinus it is a part of sinus [ quasi sinus ] with lots of harminics and a small exponential part.

It is waveform of current through high inductivity load as a result Thyristor chopped voltage applied to load.

Its very difficult and practically seems impossible [atleast for me and my micro] to model a mathematical relation for this waveform. Thus simple scaling wont work here.

Aren't your other questions answered in the Data sheet?


My questions are answered in the datasheet I have read it lots of times. But either I missed something or couldnt understand clearly thats why I posted here to learn from others experience.
