#97612 - Mosfet driver Responding to: ???'s previous message |
I have used IRF make 2117 high side driver, This IC works up to the drain voltage of 28 volts only. For more voltages IC gets heats up and eventually fails. This is is not suitable for linear appliactions. Only where constant switching (PWM mode)applications only it works. However at higher frequencies above 1KHZ IC gets heats up and fails.
Use this configuartion Port pin ----> PNP transistor -----> N-channel MOSFET Connect drain to transistor collector. Connect Gate to transistor emiter. Gowrish |
