But I am getting more confuse now,what if I initialise all ports as '0' in the start of program and then make pins high and low in program (according to my logic), IS IT POSSIBLE?
Sure, you can make the pin high or low by program but you can not make it high by external stimuli if the program set it low. The only way an external signal can affect a port (apart from popping it) it pulling a port programmed as a '1' to a '0'.

it has worked apart from port 0.
I could answer that, but refuse. It is not my job to read "the bible" for you.
