Now I am getting some sense out of my circuit. What would you suggest the best way to program the chip then ? I have to drive 2 AC motors , 1 DC motor (using MOSFETs) and LCD display via the microcontroller, there are atleast 8 inputs to microcontroller which have to be monitored continously to satisfy the logic. If I don't give logic high signal at output, how can I drive the MOSFETs ? , I do not want to use inverter as this will add another IC on board.

Please excuse my lack of deep knowledge of electronics as basically I am not an electronics guy.
