#97765 - you need a buffer Responding to: ???'s previous message |
You need to put in a buffer like 7404/BC547 ( better yet a ULN2804) combination in between the port pin and the relay to make it work. the micro can not( unless you have some special relay requiring less than 20mA of current) sink current required for a relay to energize. And a 51 derivative doesnt have much of sourcing current. so get a buffer between the port pin and the relay to make it work,
and read the data sheet of your derivative. |
