#98524 - Building it Responding to: ???'s previous message |
I used a diferrent isp circuit and a different isp software with AT89S8252. So I had to build Atmel's cable when I changed it with AT89S8253. I build it on a breadboard to check if it's working, but Atmel's isp software still indicates that the Atmel isp cable is not connected to the selected port or it is an invalid cable.
I use two 8-wire flat cables and not longer than 30 cm. What do you mean by connecting every second wire to GND or VCC? (connecting the one edge to GND and leaving the other not connected, or connecting them to 18-25 pins of the port? Does this has to do with power consumption?). Do I have a chance to make it work on a breadboard? I actually use an HC buffer and not an VHC (I cannot find a 74VHC244 buffer in Greece so I use an 74HC244) is this a problem. Thanks for the imidiate replies. Zeis |
