#98758 - 16KHz generation |
Dear Friends,
I am using 89C51RB2 in my project. I was trying to generate 16KHz frequency in controller with a crystal frequency of 11.0592MHz. For this purpose i used Timer0 in mode2 (Auto Reload) operation with a count value of 0x0E3 (which is giving 15.89 KHz). I had made one observation while trying to do above..... waveform is off for 600mS and on for 1.2 Seconds. what could be the reason for this? Observation 2: if i use timer in 16 bit mode then i loaded 0xFFE3 but this time the frquency of the waveform is 13.5Khz and with the same on off problem. what is the reason for this difference in frequencies?
