Your interface between the 8051 and the memory needs to have this support. Hopefully, the documentation on your "soft" 8051 should tell you about implementing memory interfaces? Or, again, you could look at the E5/ZE5 and see how they did it - just by way of an example. (they coined a "Configurable System Interconnect bus" (CSI bus) that provides a "highway" for the 8032 core, DMA controller, memory, etc, etc,...) |
