#9933 - RE: ADu812 |
Hi Mohammad,
I have to agree with Steve. My company uses the ADuC812 in a couple of designs. We initially didn't do surface mount, so we made a small 72 pin SIMM board with the ADuC812, the capacitors, and the crystal on it. We had a problem with noise, so ended up doing SMT boards. Also, I don't know what other peoples experiences with the ADuC have been, but we lose a lot of chips because the lock bits get set before we can program them. ADI recommended putting a Power On Reset chip onboard to fix this, though we have seen no improvement. I haven't seen any QFP52 to thru-hole converters, but I'm sure they are out there. Best of luck.
