Now is the time for YOU to do something yourself, try it out, and if it does not work come back and show us what you have done.

You have gotten help and ideas to solve it your way (maybe not the best way) YOU have to do the job

You have also been told why it is not a good way to solve your problem, so why not try to do it without interrupt. (You can poll the interrupt pin if the hardware is done)
