who say so? what if the simulation IS right and your chip just happens to run. DO NOT say something stupid like "I tested it". Succesful testing does not prove the abscence of bugs, it only proves the abscence of known bugs. If I were to simulate and the simulation did not work I would spend a lot of time proving (by analysis, not stupid testing) that my code was OK. If the simulator happens to catch something on a permanent basis, and your chip seems to run, it is very likely that your chip will fail on an intermittent basis. Erik |
