|  Erik: I would add   if you intend to run the motor more than 20% above rated frequency  or intend to take rated power from it and want reasonably reliability  all simple induction motors will run from a suitable inverter but not all will work well.
 Device ratings is somewhat:) affected by supply voltage. a 240 volt supplied inverter would survive better than a 600 v supplied inverter with 1400v rated devices Terry |
