The point of RISC is NOT in low number of instructions, that's just so to say a byproduct of a certain way of thinking and doing things. And, in fact, PICs are NOT RISCs in the usual sense of this word - although Microchip and PIC users likes to stress they are, as this is a modern and attractive buzzword.
