Just saying that it doesn't sound to me like an RTOS will give what the OP is looking for - so might just be sending him on a wild goose chase:
"DOS" = Disk Operating Systsem Many (most?) RTOS (especially for 8051s) don't come with Disk or file system support; And most don't provide a command line.
