Again, DMX uses a RS485 bus! It's intended to have all the receivers attached to the common RS485 bus, without any repeater. This, in contrast to MIDI, which needs a repeater between each "MIDI IN" and "MIDI Thru" connector.
Hardwire your "DMX IN" and "DMX THRU" connectors, like shown below:  The connector labelled "DMX" resp. "DMX1" is to be connected to your SN75176. "NC3F" resp. "NC5F" means female XLR-connector and "NC3M" resp. "NC5M" means male XLR-connector. Kai |
