#100420 - AT89C51SND1 |
Hi there all.
I am trying to do my honors thesis by making a MP3 player, I have a AT89C51SND1 chip given to me by ATMEL Europe as they do not sell these chips in South Africa. I have many questions about this chip as I am brand new to working with microcontrollers. This is my first time... My main question is... Will this chip decode Mp3's as is. i.e. do i need to make any program to make the chip decode data from a memory source... If so, what is the easiest and fastest way? I only got about a month and a half to do this project... I am not worried about functionallity at the moment, that can come at a later stage, for now all i want is for a tiny Mp3 file to be decoded and recieve some kind of output. Can i have a Mp3 file on the internel RAM? if i'm correct there is 4k Bytes i can use to store data, and 64k for program code Any help will be amazing. regards Craig Cikara |
