#100581 - Triggering Hall Effect sensors |
Hi,
I've had tested some UGN3113U (Designed by Allegro) Halleffect sensors. but the problem is that they need a big magnet to trigger their output on/off . are there all of the Halleffect sensors need such a heavy magnetic flux to trigger ? maybe this is such a getaway from false triggering by the unwanted magnetic's flowing around ? The magnet i've tested and worked for this sensor was a 6"x9" speaker's magnet (magnet itself is sized at 7cm Diameter and 7mm height)and sensor only changed it's state (L/H) crossing too close between the magnets 'Center' which has a very powerfull magnetic flex. i'm saying this because when i attach a iron to that point i have to use extra force disconecting it. UGN3113U is called 'Digital output' here and there are UGN's with 'Analog output' available here.maybe i have to use those and then use a comparator to set my threshold ? Sorry my searches throught the forum didn't helped me. Thanks in advance |
