#100714 - Timing routines are alright Responding to: ???'s previous message |
I developed the Measurment algorithm in last similar project, it's good.there is an overflow counter which counts the timer overflows up to the 256 so giving a maximum ~16.7 sec (12mhz/12 clocker). but personally limited it to some 2 seconds value, cause lower speed's wasn't that important.
updating the user dwas done at about 3-5 times/sec . if there was no new trigger detected the last speed reamined on screen.i'm planning to do some pre/post processing to estimate the next trigger and start to count down/up the display to the new value. |
