#100595 - speaker magnets Responding to: ???'s previous message |
The speaker magnet is not suitable for your test. In speaker magnets, magnetic flux is designed to concentrate in the gap between side wall of magnet and outer york, where voice coil is placed. So, the "center" of the magnet is not the place where magnetic flux is the strongest, rather the weakest. Cut out the iron outer york of the speaker magnet.
Or find another magnets. You'll find many magnets around you. Magnet clips for white board, small DC motors including CPU fan, hard disk, etc. Tsuneo |
