#101029 - Datasheets
Responding to: ???'s previous message

... but careful reading of datasheets may help somehow

No doubt that datasheets must be read carefully. But when they already have printed "Migrating ..." to help the users' adaptation to the new device, and when the highest possible compatibility between the old and new is expected, then no one would start with careful and thorough study of the new datasheet.

In "Migrating ...", there is point 17, "Parallel and Serial Mode Programming Differences", where this important difference must have been mentioned.

The first step in use of any processor is to program it, isn't it. While they surely solved this for "third-party programmers", the users like myself were neglected (or forgotten) ...
