#10113 - RE: New to MCU's - Need Help in Selectio |
As for what I need, 12 bits (4096) corresonds roughly to 2 mV at 10V, which is just ok - I can live with that. Reality is that 99% of the stuff will be 1-5V, so .02%, after "un-dividing", is again 2 mV. No biggie.
As for the switching the analogs will be hard wired to the 8 inputs. Only various jumper settings will be communicated to the controller. I've found some board level stuff that, while pricey, will handle what I want. I will just have to use 3 separate switches though. I saw some 3 pole, 10 contact ones and they were rediculously expensive. Looking at all this, and the LCD controller, has suddenly opened up a new problem, this mechanical, that I hadn't thought of and am starting a new thread on. Any input would be appreciated. |
