Do these adapters spread the footprint out a bit? From the few pictures I've seen the adapter looks to be only slightly bigger than the IC in it. I will have a 64pin TQFP w/ 0.5 mm pitch.

I'm also having a problem finding anyone online who sells these. The Yamaichi site lists distributers but they are not online ordering at all. I've just done a bunch of searching and not really found anything for the 64 pin sockets. Any favorite places I should try?
