Don't worry about it. Most, if not all, LCD modules use a 44780 or compatible controller. It is built in to the LCD module. If you want to really simplify things, look at the serial input LCD modules. http://www.seetron.com/ I personally prefer 7-segment displays for displaying numeric only data, as they are easier to read and more temperature stable. A little more code effort, but worth it. As was mentioned in the other thread, forget about 16 usable bits, and abandon internal ADCs over 8 or 10 bits. Cory Spackman |
