#101263 - cable for null modem |
Greetings to all!
I'm trying to connect an 8051 controller to a PC using a null modem cable. I have a max232 driver, and I've seen that I only need 3 lines to connect them-- the TXD, RXD and GND. What type of cable can I use for best results? Can I use UTP Cat 5, and if I can, which lines should I (or should I not) combine in the twisted pairs? Thanks. |
