You can connect the EEPROM as data memory (/RD to /OE).
Sure, but why? You can not run from it wired that way and you can not use it as data storage. And then the bootloader copy the content of the EEPROM into the internal Flash and jump to 0x0000. A very rounabout way, why not (ISP) program the internal flash in the first place? Of course, you can remove the external flash, program it and then copy it to the internal on the board, but why 17 steps instead of 1? Erik |
