#102291 - SBC sticking in reset mode upon powerup |
Never noticed this before; the SBC works fine whenever the serial cable is attached, but when power is applied without it connected, it won't run a program. I believe it is hanging in reset mode. The oscillator is going according to oscope, but the indicator LED simply stays on. Pressing the reset button does not change anything. The only way I can get the program to run is by plugging in the serial cable, and cycling the SBC power.
On the SBC, I am not using the reset controller, I am using the capacitor/resister, and I have a jumper installed in said condition, however, it seems to me this should still function. Anyone else have this problem or any thoughts? |
