#103553 - TLC7135 ADC (BCD o/p) in different way |
Dear all,
I plan to use ADC TLC7135 in different manner. It directly gives BCD o/p and normally used in DMM/DVMs etc.. What i plan to do is: 1) Give ADC clock through 89s52 controller. 2) We can start conversion whenever we want by giving signal at RUN/hold pin.(signal wud be given by controller) 3) The time taken for conversion can be found out by sensing BUSY signal of ADC. So we know time aken for measurement. It will be proportional to input to ADC. We know Vref. and some minimum i/p Vmin may be always present at ADC i/p. (may be present: coz whole design is not yet complete, Vmin=0 is also possible, but beter i assume it) So with these details, can we calculate the input value ? At this point i think yes !!! Please help me for developing formula for the same. How can i derive formula for it? Also sugest me some god stuff for reading ADC basic and fundas needed to develop formula. Waiting for positive reply. best regards, Neil. |
