#104036 - Alternative voice Responding to: ???'s previous message |
Instead of interfacing memory, you could try an alternative voice recording chip from winbond. It can record upto 120 seconds of voice, is cost effective and you don't have to worry about format conversion as it does it implicitly. The chip comes in the ISDXXX series such as ISD120 for a 120 second recording solution. Recording is easy and control can be effected using the 8051. It needs minimal external components, and should suit your purpose for a couple of minutes worth of voice. |
