That's true, but it involves a bit more calculations (counter mod 6).


It counts: -6 (=0xFA), -5, -4, -3, -2, -1 (=0xFF), -6, ...
Then adding 7 give the right result (1 ... 6).
Using DIV AB to perform mod 6 give the numbers 0 ... 5.
